Our approach
myDxHub was built because health records scatter. A blood panel sits in one portal, a dental panel in another, a prescription list in a third, and none of them can see each other. Each belongs, in every way that matters, to the practice that ordered it. The person with the most at stake in reading them together is the one person given no way to do it.
So the record here is built the other way around. It belongs to the patient. A provider's access is something the patient extends, and when the patient ends it, the halt is enforced in the database itself rather than by a setting the application is trusted to check. Everything else follows from that one decision: the access log the patient reads is the real audit trail, and a complete export is always one click away. Patient control is not a feature of the product. It is the product.

Data ownership
Two sentences have governed every decision here: your health records, in your hands, and your health data shouldn't live in a filing cabinet. They are not marketing lines applied to a finished product; they were the constraints the product was designed against, and they show up in the schema before they show up on a page.
Most portals store your records and grant you a view of them. We built it the other way around: the record is yours, and provider access is something you extend rather than something already granted. When you revoke it, the connection closes in the database itself, at the row level, not in application code that could be bypassed or a flag somebody forgets to check.
Stopping access closes the connection. Nothing new is shared, nothing updates, and anything they never opened is withdrawn. What a provider already opened, they keep for a limited time, the same way they would if you had handed them a printout. You can see exactly what that was, and when.
The rest follows from that. Every read of a patient record is audit-logged, and the access history you see in your account is that same trail, not a summary prepared for you. A complete export of your records is available whenever you want it, without a request form. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Why we exist
Modern diagnostics can measure remarkable things: the bacteria driving gum disease, the lipid and metabolic markers that forecast heart disease years ahead, the thyroid and vitamin levels behind symptoms nobody could explain. But those results too often arrive as a PDF a patient never sees, filed away after a thirty-second phone summary.
And they scatter. Your bloodwork sits in one portal, your dental panel in another, your prescriptions in a third, and none of them can see each other. The person with the most at stake in connecting them is the one person given no way to do it.
myDxHub was built to close that gap. Results flow from the lab into a record the patient owns: explained in plain language, trended over time, and shared only with the people the patient chooses.
